Calla has been with the CM Therapy team since 2022. She is an amazing therapist and a wonderful addition to our team.
Calla graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2020, with a BSc in Speech Language Pathology. She completed her community service year at Leratong Provincial Hospital in 2021, where she worked with a case load across all ages, ranging from new borns to geriatrics.

Through this she gained special experience and interest in neonatal feeding as well as paediatric speech and language assessment and intervention.

Calla has found her true passion in the neonatal and paediatric polulations, including assessment and management, but even more importantly prevention and promotion.
Working closely with Mothers and families are fundamental to Calla’s idea of the Holistic management of each patient.

Calla has since worked with a paediatric caseload in a school setting, in the assessment and management of speech and language difficulties.

Calla Is also a Certified Lactation Consultant, and enjoys assisting mothers in their breastfeeding journeys. Calla has also completed the Level 1 Makaton training and Introduction to DIR Floortime.
